Gifts of the Holy Spirit Collage

1. Wisdom is represented by a tree because as a tree has many branches, wisdom comes in many different forms, but the wisest thing a person can do is direct their whole life and their actions to honor God and His glory.
2. Understanding is represented by a brain because our brain helps us comprehend and understand things. Also, I chose a picture of sunlight shining through a church, because we are enlightened or taught about the Lord in churches and by reading the Bible.
3. Counsel is represented by a warning sign, because we are warned in the Bible and by God of what to do, what not to do, and what is dangerous.
4. Fortitude is represented by a shield because with that shield we gain the strength and courage to pursue the will of God in everything we do
5. Knowledge is represented by the Bible because that is where the church and people get knowledge about God.
6. Piety is represented by the picture of Jesus with the children, and by the picture of the Father holding his son's hand. I chose these pictures because I think that they depict how much God loves us. Also I think it shows how He really is our one true Father, and we should obey and love him like we do our human fathers.
7. Fear of the Lord is represented by a turtle hiding under his shell because when we sin or offend God, although we want to, we cannot try to hide from him. We must stand up and ask for forgiveness.

baptism video # 5

1.Who made this video? How do you know it is trustworthy?

This video was made by the Vatican TV Center and involves the pope, so that is how I know it is trustworthy.

2.What did this video teach you about the Sacrament that you didn't already know?

This video taught me that the Sacrament of Baptism starts the childrens life as disciples, which is an experience of light. This is symbolized by the Eatser Candle.

3.Was this video also entertaining or was it boring? How could it be more appealing? Explain

This video was somewhat entertaining. I liked that its facts were simple but knowledgeable. This video could have been more appealing if it was more exciting.
